Theme of the conference Engineering for Life

The theme for WEEF 2024 is Engineering for Life. This theme invites discussion on a range of topics including the learning needed at different stages of a professional engineering career from school through to leadership levels in professional practice; learning to develop different capabilities in response to changing environments; learning how engineers can support life on the planet and work towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on gender equality in engineering.

1. How we educate engineers for a lifelong career in engineering, adapting to an ever-changing world;

2. How we apply engineering practice to sustain and enhance the lives of everyone on the planet.

There are a number of other ways to participate. We invite Workshops in any area including your practice in educating engineers, leadership in engineering education, AI and how to use it to enhance the student experience, modelling the educational and leadership experience for enhancement, etc.

1. Submit your Paper or Workshop Proposal using the tabs on any page of this website.

2. Join the Conference by clicking on the Register to Participate tab at the top of any page.

3. Join the Student movement, and participate in the Mathworks Drone event.

4. Join Engineers Without Borders.

Step 2. Getting the Visa Letter: The Letter is automatically issued by the registration system once you have registered.
Step 3. Apply for the Visa: This letter can then be used at the Australian Consulate to obtain your Visa. Or online here Australian Home Affairs
