As Australia’s global city, Sydney has the infrastructure and logistical capabilities to make WEEF/IFEES/GEDC 2024 a resounding success.
Attending an international conference in Sydney will be a transformative experience for many delegates and an important opportunity to create long-lasting memories and professional connections. The Local Organising Committee will create meaningful networking opportunities during the conference both on-site and at co-located events.
The theme for WEEF 2024 is Engineering for Life. This theme invites discussion on a range of topics including the learning needed at different stages of a professional engineering career from school through to leadership levels in professional practice; learning to develop different capabilities in response to changing environments; learning how engineers can support life on the planet and work towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on gender equality in engineering.
