PDF Instructions for Authors submitting Full Papers

All Full Papers submitted to WEEF 2024 need a number of specific actions

  • The submitting author must complete the IEEE Copyright form in the ConfTool system.
  • Papers must be submitted as a PDF.
  • Use the IEEE PDF eXpress system to ensure that your paper is properly formatted.

Before Creating a PDF

  • Add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1980-3/24/$31.00 ©2024 Crown
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1980-3/24/$31.00 ©2024 European Union
    • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1980-3/24/$31.00 ©2024 IEEE
  • Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.

Creating your PDF eXpress Account (Conference ID is 63419X)

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site

First-time users should do the following:

  • Select the New Users – Click Here link. Enter the following:
    • 63419X for the Conference ID your email address
    • a password
    • Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

If you have not received the validation email from PDF eXpress, please follow these instructions from the PDF eXpress team

If you do not receive the verification email

We request you to try login into IEEE PDF eXpress with your credentials, and confirm the pop up to receive the verification email.

You will be shown a popup to re-send the verification link, click on “Yes” and a verification email will be sent again to your registered email ID. Make sure you do not have a popup blocker active.
You may click on the verification link to activate about your account.

Previous users

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
